Is there a word in the English language that bothers you?

Which word is it? I didn’t realise how many people hate the word “moist.” Now I’m a bit curious what other words people dislike.

“Unthaw” - since “thaw” means to go from a frozen state to not frozen, why does “unthaw” mean the same thing? Shouldn’t “unthaw” mean to freeze?
