Portland is such a filthy city
I'm from Chicago. I miss it because Portland is so gross. Homeless and drugs. Everywhere outside of the city is beautiful, but actually living inside is intolerable. I'm gonna have to move out to the suburbs

the west coast from San Diego up to Vancouver and Victoria have had all the same problems with crime, drugs, policing, housing, they all follow the same cookie-cutter policies and end up hosed
had a friend in Portland and they wanted to move to Canada [crime/politics/healthcare/virus spooked them]
I guess now you need to know kung fu and target practice to visit the big bookstore - Powell's
