I have to go against the grain on this one, and say stable, but unlevel... even though that would drive my (trace of) social anxiety up.

I suppose there would be some silent enjoyment in watching things slide off the table and quiet desperation in knowing that was the choice I had selected. So, in the end, I guess things would even out.
