I Love Inspirational Poems And Quotes

Spring

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high over vales and hills
When all at once I saw a crowd
A host of golden daffodils
Beside the lake, beneath the trees
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze

For oft when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude
And then my heart with pleasure fills
And dances with the daffodils

Very nice. Did you write that yourself?

@Crazychick Not exactly 😀😀 It’s by William Wordsworth and one of the greatest English poems. There are a couple more verses 🤗

@Ian123 If I'd posted it I'd have put the author's name underneath (and the year if I could find it).

@Crazychick Look under Daffodils, sometime around the 1850’s I think

@Ian123 I might have seen it before when I was about 10, I can't remember now. I've certainly heard of Wordsworth.

@Crazychick Very possibly only Home Thoughts From Abroad by Robert Browning is a better known English poem
