Something that’s been on my mind a lot lately

To me, someone that does the right thing even if they won’t get any recognition or praise, speaks volumes about their character.

Whether it’s putting your shopping cart back where they belong, or picking up a piece of trash and throwing it away, or even simply holding the door open for someone, doing what’s right should be normalized again.
And it’s kinda hot 🥵 ( for me ) 😅

There’s this quote from the show “ Futurama” where Bender speaks to God in space, and God says

Thank you for taking a few seconds of your day to read this, have a beautiful day ♥☕

You have this right. A while ago someone posted on here asking if you take your tray and trash to the trash can after you eat at a fast food restaurant. I do but don't think that merits praise from anyone. I think the entitled people who don't do things like that deserve negative attention.

@Sevendays that bothers me so much 😤 when people don’t at least fix their plates/utensils/cups at restaurants
Like at least make it a little easier for them, it doesn’t take that much effort

Yea I’ve dealt with entitled people all my life and it’s something that I don’t think they’ll ever understand
I alway wonder why people at work get their manners. I'll walk by pick up candy wrappers on floor etc snd throw away. Seriously. Throw in trash. Why so hard?

@Bexsy there could be a number of reasons, but I doubt they’ll change, it’s something that a lot of people don’t realize

The sign of a great person is that they do what is right because it is right, whether people notice it or not.

@Baaaaaaaa 👏🏻 that sums it up perfectly

Interesting you posted on this topic as just this morning at my usual grocery store quick trip, two shopping carts were right out in the middle of the main pass through.
So I collected both and rolled them to the cart rack…
Geeze

Love this. So so true.

This is an example of healthy confidence. Where you know it’s right and you’re doing it between you and your own conscience. Regardless of the feedback. You know the truth without the feedback.

Thank you for this post. I was amazed yesterday when I was pushing my cart and a stray cart back to the storage spot when a lady stopped me and thanked me.
