I got a legit question.

Okay so im watching Criminal Minds and this couple just bought and old fixer upper house. Well they end up finding 4 or 5 mummified bodies in the walls. My question is do they get their money back on the house or do they still have to keep it? Who's gonna want to still live there after that and Who's gonna want to buy it after that? Not this guy thats who!

That’s a good question. 🤔
The realtors obviously don’t know about it and if they’re mummified they’re way past the point of smelling like rotting flesh. I guess it just counts as a “buyer beware” risk you take when buying a house.

@Straylight Thats what im thinking. I mean surely you could get some kind of exemption or possibly find another house of equal or lesser value thats not stocked with bodies and just transfer the loan and everything to the new house?

@GnomeyGee It’s probably a state by state kind of law. Some states entitle the buyer to compensation if they make a discovery that significantly impacts the properties value. I’m not sure what the specifics are though.

@Straylight I did not know that! Well thank you so much for your input!
