Spotted dick? 馃槀馃槀馃槀
@saragoodtimes If you say it's good I will believe you
@PhoenixPhail 馃槀馃槈

puke 馃あ
@Matt85 don't know what you're missing when prepared properly
@saragoodtimes Because they're intelligent creatures.
I don鈥檛 eat things that wink or squirt at me 馃槍
Livingwell61-69, M
@Iknowyourouttheresomewhere You're losing out... 馃槅
No for me, they have been proven to be very intelligent and i refuse to eat things with proven reasoning skills!
Octopi are quite smart. We should leave them off the menu.
@SW-User I agree. Even animals which aren't smart have as much right to life as those which are. Although, I am a meat-eater. I've tried being a vegetarian, but I always return to eating meat. It's a hard habit to break.
DrWatson70-79, M
I have had it at sushi places.

It's OK.
Musicman61-69, M
Definitely not! 馃あ
Not if I were being tortured and starving馃ぃ.

But I said the same thing about oysters until my date suggested them and 'prettied' me into trying them. Gawwwwd was she good looking. 馃槏
Jeephikelove46-50, F
Yes but not like that.

Takoyaki 馃構
travelguy0141-45, M
@Jeephikelove Takoyaki is so weird feeling!
Jeephikelove46-50, F
@travelguy01 true but you get used to iy, gotta find a place that makes it well, I鈥檝e had undesirable Takoyaki before but a couple places I鈥檝e tried it at was pretty damn good.
travelguy0141-45, M
@Jeephikelove Maybe I will have to try it again at a different place. I've had it at a convention as well as in a random sushi restaurant in Richmond VA years ago. But maybe neither of those were the best places lol.
ineedadrink51-55, M
I love calamari in a vinaigrette, never had octopus.
MarineBob56-60, M
Depends on the restaurant
@MarineBob even good restaurants sometimes screw it up
not as long as there are other options. LOL

The natural ratio for bipedal carnivores is one mouth to four limbs. So, clearly, if humans were suppised to eat octopus, they would have two mouths.

Admittedly, some do speak out of their arses, but these are, strictly defined, false mouths, and do not invalidate the basic hypothesis.
Livingwell61-69, M
Yes. Although not cooked like that.
Had some last weekend. Made a soup. It was really good. Not much flavor though. Mostly just texture. Can鈥檛 overcook it.

@Madmonk when cooked right it's a delicacy. fine line between delicacy and disaster however
@saragoodtimes so true. I may have cooked mine a minute too long. It was still good. I鈥檒l be more vigilant next time
Nayla51-55, F
Is that an octopus?
AlchemyFox36-40, F
No. I think it's sad.
Aww thank you sweetie !
I will and I have!
JimboSaturn51-55, M
Yes for me.
Yes for me.

Calamari, YES
Waxfoot56-60, M
Hell yes
ElRengo70-79, M
I've had calamari, does that count?
tbh I'll try just about anything twice, but that doesn't even look appealing.
@SooperSarah calamari is a squid, octopus is an octopus with a mild slightly sweet taste. I like both along with scungelli
SalttyDawg70-79, M
Nayla51-55, F
Octopus is a very intelligent creature. Should be banned from being eaten by people
sarabee199526-30, F
Had it several times. Not my favorite dish, but if prepared right can be quite good.
Fungirlmmm51-55, F
No, thank you. My throat is closing up just looking at it.

Justmeraeagain56-60, F
No 馃憥
travelguy0141-45, M
Have had calamari many times, but that is squid.

Have not had straight up octopus that I can remember, outside of sushi or Takoyaki.
lumberjackslam41-45, M
nah I'm good ,,馃あ

I am massively allergic to shell fish so will not touch it
@InOtterWords Octopuses are classified as cephalopods, not mollusks. So, they're not shell fish. But, you still might be allergic.
@PhoenixPhail and because the allergy is deathly i am not prepared to take the risk
@InOtterWords Very smart choice. 馃憤 I wouldn't risk it, either.
I've had canned octopus, so why not.

aboveaverageaveragejoe51-55, M
No too chewy for me.
@aboveaverageaveragejoe if chewy it was overcooked. has to be carefully watched when cooking
