Does anyone else know what Woke means?

@LordShadowfire every person I've ever met that claim to be woke only cared so other people could see them caring which I believe is called virtue signaling there's nothing wrong with caring but you can't make other people care

@Iwantout "Every" is a big word and rarely applicable. When I see it I know I know that emotion is driving the train. There's validity to the point you're making. Particularly as it relates to sheltered, young people on social media. But the "woke" thing is nothing but a tool of the right. Clearly. It's the divide and conquer strategy and appeals to those who use words like "all" and "every." It's how the actual goals of fairness, equality and opportunity are dismissed by those who are fearful of that.

@Ynotisay I agree with you we've never been more divided that's why I don't like this stuff and yes you're correct I was mainly referring to younger people as it's rare to see an older person call themselves that
