23.
I actually left for college at 18, but I was back home again for summer, holidays, etc. At 23 I moved out and never moved back in.

18. I went to visit and stayed at home from time to time, but I always had my own place.

Eighteen, to go to college. I was only an hour drive away so went back home during breaks. I lived in dorms.

Then when I was 22 I moved hundred's of miles away to graduate school. I visited home less often. I lived in a dorm my first year, and got my first apartment my second year.

When I was 24 I go my first job. I am now in my third apartment, 24 years later.

I was 17 when I left for college.
Around 16, but my parents kept an "Open door" policy, so I was able to come home now and then over the years if needed.
