I sit on my ass and watch meme videos, anything else is a wasted day.
People who "try to be productive" are unbelievably annoying.

I'm retired, so I usually set one or two main goals for the day. If I accomplish those, it has been a productive day. Anything else is extra credit.

Veni, vidi, vici. Even if the last is a very minor victory.

I can vary with the situation. sometimes I'll work really hard until exhaustion while other days if I even just do one simple thing but a thing I've been eternally procrastinating about , then I am really proud of my day.

Provided my primary responsibilities are attended to, I can finish the day satisfied.
Which are school or work, house, and family.
This means that :
Measurable progress has been made in work/school tasks, and on schedule.
Appointments, and financial obligations attended to.
Anything outstanding is usually not critical and can be finished within the week.
Be sure to prioritize, but understand there's a fine line between productivity and burnout.
Do not attempt to finish everything.
Above all, you must take time to breathe and get away for a little while.

Well they vary. I work, so most of my week is productive.
Therefore i allow myself lazy days now and then on weekends.
Some days, i just snuggle up on the couch and watch a series or something, and thats fine for me. Others, as long as i get done what i need to , im good.
It does no one any good to keep berating oneself about what one hasn't done.....you do what you can.
Some days we have more focus, and others , not so much🤷♀️
And thats ok.

I have high expectations. A lot of work needs to be done for it to be a productive day. I have like one a month, barely.
palmtree · 22-25, F
@MartinTheFirst that's valid too!

If I can check a few things off of my list. Emails, phone calls, household stuff. You can't build Rome in a day.
