I think self love is psychologically healthy. After all, loving yourself is a good first step to allowing yourself to BE loved.
I'd only worry if it became obsessive, and the fact that you are still questioning yourself indicates you are nowhere near that point.

I cannot help it...this is an important one. My whole life I suffered from low self-esteem...from childhood. People told me i could not love others until I loved myself (I argued against that for so long). But tantra helped me change all that...to love myself (first sexually...) and that grew into love for a partner, then others, then all people, all life, nature, and the universe...but yes, it did all start with love for myself. You seem to have an advantage over some of us. Love yourself!! The expand on that!!! I also discovered that sometimes criticism of others or a partner was actually self-criticism of something in myself I did not like...

You should love yourself.If you don't then how can you expect others too.As long as you don't become narcissistic all is good.

No, that doesn’t sound wrong at all, as long you are able to let others, who also appreciate you, in.
@bijouxbroussard Thank you
