Fun fact, they almost made a sequel to Freddy vs Jason. It was Freddy vs Jason vs Ash. Where Ash from the Evil Dead franchise would fight both Freddy and Jason. The movie nearly got made but Sam Raimi refused to go through with it because he was worried that the movie wouldn't be good and would tarnish the Evil Dead series,

The movie got as far as a completed script which you can actually read online if you can find it. I read the script a long time ago and honestly it was horrible. I guess Sam Raimi was right. They did actually make a comic book based on what the movie would have been.
