Zelensky Rules OK

Whatever will be will be. Yesterday in the UK House of Commoms, via video link, Mr Zelensky spoke. Not empty rhetoric, but the true voice of decency and defiance and as a citizen of the world - not of the "greatness" of this country or that country.

Being in the UK House of Commons it made a welcome change from the trite platitudes of our countries current leaders, seeking to justify their parties and who knows what else as they imposed strict lockdowns on others.

Hopefully, the UK's Trump-lite might just have absorbed something, anything from a genuine human being.

Meanwhile, "Global Britain", true to its "Christian values" of welcome the stranger, continues to quibble about the very few Ukrainians seeking sanctuary here in the UK.
Moldova has taken in over 200 000 refugees - about 10% of its poulation. Meanwhile, the UK Government is turning refugees back at Calais for "insufficient paperwork". It was sufficient to get them all the way across Europe.
@NortiusMaximus Yes, that is "Global Britain" these days. The end result of so many voting for Brexit simply because they don't like "forriners". And instead of admitting it, waffling on about "self-determination".

Did he mention peace or just invoke war?

Also, dont you find it strange that the house was jam packed and every single one was on their feet? Looks like we have a one party state?

Juxtapose this with an almost empty house of commons when discussing injection injuries on the citizens they are supposed to represent.

The hypocrisy is off the charts

@gol979 yep. The more the war happens. The more were affected globally. The spill out from this will affect every single one of us.

@Gangstress really ramped up during covid. Printing money like its going out of fashion will obviously lead to inflation. The powers that shouldnt be know this...its hard to avoid its an actual agenda
Gangstress · 41-45, F
@gol979 exactly! Let alone the countries that will ramp their security budgets up. So that means less money for importsnt resources. Ie fuel, gas

I'd love to strap BoJo in a vest and sent him to Ukraine.
