@tenente Well, he's 73 but point taken. The Queen worked right up until the end though. Her last duty was formally asking Liz Truss to form a government last Tuesday.

@tenente I would have thought he would have passed it on to William.
Takes all sorts I suppose.
One could say that Elizabeth could have done the same thing and passed the crown onto Charles a decade ago.

@MrSimons Maybe not. But it can still be done and no one would have begrudged her for doing it.
Even though Charles is not as popular as Elizabeth was, it could have been done.

@Gusman Some people support such an idea but I have never personally thought it would be right. William's time will come. I doubt he will have as long a wait as Charles did!
