Considering he inherited the worst pandemic in over a century, a decades long war in Afghanistan, historic levels of civil unrest, wide-spread distrust in American institutions, and the largest ever single-term increase in the national debt, he came into office behind the proverbial 8-ball
I believe he had the best intentions, but he definitely fell short of accomplishing everything he needed to and bungled things he shouldn't have. If nothing else, I'd argue that he at least helped to restore a sense of normalcy to American politics after 4 years of Trump's buffoonery
Unfortunately his legacy is going to be tarnished by his age and high inflation, even though America out-performed most of the developed world in post-pandemic economic recovery. Looking at stats like GDP growth, wages, and unemployment, Biden should be hailed for having a strong economy, but for most people, "the economy" just means gas and groceries.
Overall, I'd say 5/10. Glad I voted for him, but I would've preferred someone else. I still have every reason to believe he was a far better choice his opponent.

@TinyViolins So you like the war in Ukraine which happened under Biden's watch? How about the Gaza genocide again under Biden's watch. How about the millions of illegal immigrants that have flooded the US? Comments?
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 Trump oversaw the largest single-year increase in the US murder rate. By your logic, you might as well blame Trump for murdering all those people.
Or you can try being reasonable for once and understand the President is not a god that controls everything around him. Biden didn't tell Putin to invade Ukraine or give the order to Hamas to ruin that concert.
The global economy was in disarray following the outbreak of COVID. Jobs were lost and gang violence soared in several Latin American countries. It's hard to blame those people for wanting to head to greener pastures.
From experience I know that most illegal immigrants from those countries are kind, respectful, hardworking people. Crime statistics out of Texas shows they commit crimes at half the rate of US citizens. I don't mind having them as neighbors. The overwhelming majority do good, honest work and will beat a lazy, entitled American worker 9 times out of 10
I'll quote Ronald Reagan when I say "We lead the world because, unique among nations, we draw our people, our strength, from every country and every corner of the world."

@TinyViolins Biden started the war in Ukraine. History is history. I didn't blame Biden for anything that he didn't do. I am asking you what do you think of those things?
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 Well, as President of the unnecessary violence fan club, I'd give those things 5 thumbs up!
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@TinyViolins So you are in favour of the destruction of Ukraine? That war is completely on Biden. Not Trump or Obama or Bush or Clinton. It is entirely on Biden. You think that the death of a million Ukrainians was worth it? BTW the loss of that war has cost the US dearly. It doesn't have the status it once had since it lost the war both militarily and economically.
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 Sure, and Trump personally created the coronavirus all by himself, which killed 7 million people. It cost the US even more dearly
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@TinyViolins You don't know a thing about the war in Ukraine. Too Funny! No wonder you think Biden was a great president. You don't know a thing about what happened!

hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Secretsmile No but it certainly thinks it is and acts accordingly.
