The most presidential response I have seen to such a crisis.

Elizabeth Warren has a column in today's NY Times in which she ties these two bank failures directly to the 2018 rollback of Dodd-Frank liquidity and capital requirements. Let's see, who signed that rollback into law??

@ElwoodBlues Someone whose initials are DJT...
@CorvusBlackthorne P.S. I shamelessly stole your Biden text boxes and pasted them into this question:

There seem to be a certain group of folks who forgot that FDIC exists and have been presenting the false dilemma that either taxpayers or depositors will have to pay for the bank failures.

@ElwoodBlues I am happy that they were put to good use. I myself stole them from Twitter.

Such a change! An adult in the White House. I noticed Biden's statement was a half hour before the markets opened.
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
In my administration no one is above the law......
Lets remember that one😂
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@Virgo79 I agree. And I will remind you that he said that when it comes time to arrest Donald Trump for his many crimes.

@eli1601, do you intend joining the conversation like an adult, or hiding in the shadows like a coward while posting laughing emojis?
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
@CorvusBlackthorne there ya go, off subject again, lol.
The statement had nothing to do with Trump.
No wonder you support biden you can't comprehend anything any better than him.
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@Virgo79 It has everything to do with Donald Trump. Whom do you think caused the current bank crisis?
Ravens80 · 46-50, F
Do you really think he actually manages his page🤣 someone is paid to write that for him. He’s not mentally capable of writing anything like that let alone using any devices capable of hosting that.
Ravens80 · 46-50, F
@CorvusBlackthorne just stating the obvious. Pull your head out of the sand to take a breath once in a while. Do you actually think someone as feeble minded as Biden is capable of doing that? I don’t care what political party he is from, he is assisted living material and a career do nothing at best.
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@Ravens80 Were President Biden to walk on water, you would claim it was because he cannot swim. There is nothing he can do that is good enough for you.
Ravens80 · 46-50, F
@CorvusBlackthorne only someone like you would even throw a comparison with Christ out. FYI he can’t even walk up the stairs of Air Force One🤣🤣
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@sunsporter1649 Do you disagree with his assessment and handling of the situation? Yes or no?

Elessar · 26-30, M
@CorvusBlackthorne Of course he does. They've been whining and begging for a bail out all over the weekend, the so called party of "fiscal responsibility" and "small government" lol

bring back Glass Steigel
National banks, state banks, city public banks -. They're possible and do exist.
Murkan people choose nothing like that!

Great post. Thank you.

If you wish to present a well-thought-out opinion based on factual evidence, I am willing to entertain it. If, on the other hand, you have to contribute is mockery, you may leave.

@CorvusBlackthorne
If, on the other hand, you have to contribute is malarkey , you may leave.

@Elessar Thank you.
Thank you. 🙏🏽

F*cking yes. I mean it should be a damn obvious thing, but clearly we live in times some people evidently need this reminder.
@Elessar When Bush did his TARP bailout in Oct 2008, he kept all the investors whole. I don't even think the senior managers lost their jobs.
