A lot of people are asking for hard evidence and that is a fair point.

However, this isn't likely fake news or a conspiracy. All the shit that the CIA has done is a matter of historic record. There is no reason at all why they would not still be funding paramilitaries and organising coups. Its what they do. Its hard to get evidence about powerful and secretive organisations until after the fact.

People didn't believe the rumours during the Contra War because the 80s were not like the bad old days. But they were.
