Biden wants to double the size of the IRS???

Biden wants to add another 80,000 more people to the 80,000 people already working for the IRS.

Doing the math, the IRS will then have a payroll of about $120Billion a year and a per taxpayer ratio of one IRS employee for every 1,299 taxpayers.

Help me understand the thinking of Democrats who went head over heels to defund the police yet want to double the IRS?
Huh...so lemme see if I have this right...the WH wants to stack the IRS with twice as many incompetent idiots to f*** up our tax returns. And, in kind, we get to pay more in taxes for this "privilege" during recession the WH claims we aren't in, while runaway inflation is destroying everyone's buying power.

Absolutely brilliant if the goal is royally f***ing over the country.

IF this bill passes. We can still hope that Kyrsten Sinema will block the bill. This will be the worst thing imaginable for the American people. They will be going after FAMILIES that make less than $200,000.00 a year...because if they do not, this bill is ridiculously NON-cost-effective.

Apparently, he wants to raise money from people cheating their taxes.

They are the people who raise your taxes, by not paying theirs.

By doing that, coincidentally, they'll be able to fund more police.

Taxes are more impotant than people's safety, especially now, with this economy

You are not a priority but your money is.

A local man was recently indicted for allegedly defrauding Medicare for $175 million. Like how could someone collect that much money from the government without raising all sorts of red flags? But I'm aware of a few other frauds where crooks got away with stuffing hundreds of millions in their pockets for years before being nabbed. Or look at the fleecing of the FDIC and US Treasury a few decades ago when crooks walked off with almost a TRILLION dollars.

But we haven't heard anything about Biden wanting to hire more people to investigate medicare fraud, or the other the other monies shelled out bu the government. Why the taxpayers?

@Heartlander or to ensure that multinational corporations pay a realistic tax rate.
The wealth-redistribution shell game is... complicated. 🤑
