When I started talking out loud, to tell him that he is a stinking bag of poo, and a lying stinking evil criminal idiot, I realized I could ease my own pain immediately. *Click*.

Let's see...he was blaming EVERYONE and EVERYTHING but himself. Printing all those trillions of dollars had nothing to do with it.

It's the fault of Covid, it's Putin's fault, it's the fault of the supply shortage and of course, it's Trump's fault.

He says he is going to REDUCE prices....what a freaking idiot. Two cents off gas doesn't help...idiot. *Click*

@carpediem That maneuver is beyond stupid. It's calculated to put Americans at risk. The purpose of the reserve is to counter a disruption in the commercial oil supply. Think of the recent causes behind the current supply chain issues beginning with the shutdown of the XL pipeline. The disruptions are gov't induced. The current use of the strategic reserve has failed to have a reductive influence on gas prices (no surprise there) and could leave the US exposed in the event of an emergency.

@TexChik When he made a withdrawal from our strategic reserves the last time, he pretended it was a big deal, and that it would lower gas prices. He withdrew enough oil to last us for two days, and the price of oil went down TWO WHOLE CENTS. Then it went right back up again...and now the price of gas is the highest in history.

@DavidT8899 Absolutely. And he was smart to do it when he did. It’s a reserve for emergency use. If he is really interested in lowering energy and relieving the distress he’s placed on the country he’d cancel his day one executive orders.

@ABCDEF7 Americans use 20 million barrels of oil per day. Biden is utilizing 1 million barrels per day from the strategic reserve...a mere 5% per day of our total utilization. That's not going to make even a small dent in the price.

@ABCDEF7 “ may” my foot! California can’t support the demands on their grid now . There is no technology to make a renewable energy source meet our current or future demands . There won’t be any time soon . Those fantasies are not reality, just like man made climate change .
