You don't get to be a billionaire unless you do smart things like Elon

For example, stating Twitter is slow due to RPCs, but Twitter doesn't use RPC, it uses GraphQL 🤡
Idk computer talk but im not surprised he lied bout something to cover his dumbness

I saw it too, I was making a post about it this morning like "if you use mobile Twitter expect outages, Elon just sacked possibly the one guy who knew how to keep the whole sh*t together" lolol
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Elessar he has a dedicated legion of dick riders. One guy was literally claiming GraphQL is less efficient than SQL 🤡
Elessar · 26-30, M
@basilfawlty89 Hear me out, why not reimplement the whole backend with a single `POST /sql` route?

Publicly accessible of course, so it'll be even faster without having to waste time doing authentication? Maximum efficiency! Even better if we do it over QUIC or WebSockets!

(* Obligatory /s in case Musk finds and implements it for real lol)

It's sad a lot of people think that intelligence is equated with making money, that's not really true. There's many other factors like generational wealth, connections, network, education and home environment. Like there's business owners who still believe the earth is flat and while they're not billionaires, they're still technically successful.

Back in my old state of Trumpland, there's a bunch of people who will literally believe in things like the gay agenda and stuff but yet they own stores lmfao. Back in some tourist places I visited while not Trump land, there were a few idiots who QAnon clearly that had their own stores.

Intelligence doesn't really equal making money, it's all about connections and a variety of factors. If Elon Musk was born in some other place with some other family, he may turn out differently and not be a billionaire and the world would have never heard of him. Heck, not having those factors he could even be in prison or something in an alternate life.

What's the context?
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Burnley123 NW is right, I literally saw people from other large companies offer them interviews via twitter. Actual legit accounts too. They won't be unemployed long.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Burnley123 Unless I've missed a "take anyone else's username for $16/mo" I'm fairly certain it's him

Plus I've read the dev got hired somewhere else right away

@basilfawlty89 Cool. I probably would make a direct and honest comment, at a company that values employee input, but not when the CEO is megalomaniac Musk, unless I have another job already, especially in an environment where everyone is laying people off.

Update: Genius Billionaire Tech Gurus don't know how to press F12.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@basilfawlty89 I bet he's probably spending the night fighting against the company's gitlab instance in order to gain write access and have that API call wrapped in a for [0, 100) loop before more kids starts owning him publicly with the F12 network tab thing 😏
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP
@basilfawlty89 I still say that Elon is just so dumb, poor thing lmfao.
mariannezap · 31-35, F
The dumbest thing I've ever done is not being born to uber-wealthy parents with apartheid emerald mines to kick start my future wealth. Why would I make a mistake like that?!
