How would people survive on Mars without a magnetosphere to protect them from deadly radiations from space?

@swirlie
There are no moonwalk footprint photographs. It's actually up to YOU, not me, to prove that footprints exist on the moon.
You're gonna prove these are fake, right??

Also see the laser reflector experiment; still working!!

@swirlie
Can you prove those images were not produced on planet earth?
That's not the task. You said
If you look closely, you will not ever find human footprints on the moon that were left over from the `60's nor the `70's because ...
And I'm saying yes there are human footprints on the moon. If you want to dream up a GiAnTt CoNsPiRaCyY involving thousands of scientists and engineers that's your business. I'm just pointing out that when we look closely we have plenty of images of human footprints on the moon.

There are also laser reflection tests that can and have been done. You can doubt anything you like, up to and including the roundness of the Earth. All I'm doing is showing your "no footprints" assertion is false. I cannot cure you of a GiAnTt CoNsPiRaCyY affliction.
@ElwoodBlues Of of course she won't. She's waiting for you to prove that there isn't a square inch on this planet where they could have been filmed. Because apparently, that's how burden of proof works.

BZZZZZT!!! Bandwagon fallacy!!!
Translation: you have zero support for this absurd claim.

Same as on the moon! Must mention this is actually in the planning sence and therefore far more to come sooner.

Few want to believe what is coming to our future. Yet it's coming no matter the denials.

Note the ISS is another example. A few have been up there over a year.

So much for the deniers. 😔

@RSHankins as well as operates out of it when flies out of it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Probably magnets.
@Starcrossed Giant superconducting magnets generating a protective field - interesting suggestion!!

They're never going to be out, without protective suits, and they will always have to be shielded inside radiation bunkers (where they live) whenever there's a solar flare. Until an atmosphere is developed.

They wouldn't. Earth, this beautiful blue-green jewel, is the only place humans, animals, and plants can live. So we damn well better take good care of Earth!

Indoor living at its finest. Thick domes, and lots of shielding.

No worries, there is no oxygen there either, problem solved.

Tunnels..😷
@swirlie
It is a well-known fact that America putting a man on the moon back in the `60's was a hoax that was authorized by JFK, a hoax that perpetuated the Great American Lie about military superiority over the Soviets during the days of the Cold War.
I can't help but notice that whenever you conspiracy freaks have any actual evidence, you always fall back on the LIE that something is a "well-known fact". Well known by whom? Crystal meth enthusiasts?

@swirlie Quoting my earlier post:
I'm still waiting for you to present your first fact about levels of radiation on the apollo trip. I won't hold my breath.
If you think you know something about pilots and astronauts, tell us the radiation levels you believe exist. We'll accept rads, rems, or sieverts. Heck, we'll even accept disintigrations per second.

My guess is you're bluffing and you have ZERO data about the radiation levels you're blabbing about. Go ahead, prove me wrong!

BTW, when I was a physics major, I did my senior thesis on radiation measurement; you won't find it easy to snow me.

@ElwoodBlues Turns out anything that holds stable hydrogen is good protection against GCR, Polyethylene for instance.
Dearest @swirlie, I'd really like to see the data that convinces you humans can't withstand the radiation in space. Please show us the information on which you base the following claimse:
because travel to the moon involves the same problem with radiation that mars presents and no American-made, flush-riveted tin can ever landed on nor took-off from the moon's surface with a bunch of guys on board, returning home completely unscathed.
Please tell us the radiation levels you believe exist during a round trip to the moon. We'll accept rads, rems, or sieverts. Heck, we'll even accept disintigrations per second.
