Pregnant Texas teen died after three ER visits due to medical impact of abortion ban

This is the future Trump wants, people. Pay attention.
ALL an abortion ban does is force girls and women to go to cheap motels....a back room or a basement. Then you have two fatalities.

The worse part..........you absolutely know the same Republican law makers that are forcing this down women's throats have paid for who know how many abortions to hide their own actions.

But…. But….. “Pro Life!”
More stats on the damage the Texas law is doing. Women in Texas experienced a 56% rise in maternal mortality when Texas' new abortion law went into effect prior to Dobbs.

The new Texas law, SB 8, allows MANY more people to sue a doctor who provides that kind of care. It created an "open season" on doctors. Almost any busybody can sue a doctor under SB 8.

And what it found was a 56% rise in maternal mortality in the state of Texas from the year 2019 to 2022. That’s notable because it’s compared to just an 11% rise in maternal mortality nationwide in the same time period. And the time period is important because 2019 is our last glimpse of life before the pandemic. We know that the entire country saw a maternal mortality spike during the pandemic.

But the thing that was really different here: Texas stood out in that it had SB 8. And we know SB 8 passed an entire year before Dobbs. That was the biggest difference between Texas and the other states that did not see such a major rise in maternal mortality.

The dobbs decision is a train wreck. I think many of the "yay" justices went into the case with their mind made up and failed to look at things objectively. Basically, they ignored the problems that Roe v Wade solved, and now we are back to the same problems again.

Medical negligence !!!! The teen should have been hospitalized after the first ER visit and monitored closely

This is a sad, just like all the other instances when these women should not have had to suffer and die. Her infection could have been, and should have been found and treated right away. Pro life laws
are not responsible for her death. The hospital and doctors who failed her are responsible and should be held accountable.

@LordShadowfire She wasn’t even looking for an abortion. She was getting ready for her baby shower..

Yes, she died but how the hell is pro life loss responsible for her death? Yes, she died with all the complications she had. Tell me how the doctors are not fucking responsible.

Her death was at 100% preventable. Her family needs to sue for malpractice.

Say you support abortion, but don’t use a mother’s life as your excuse because it is not true

And yet, the rich can still get undercover abortions .

I weep for America. The greatness it has is now rotted at the core.

The only ones living under the delusion of wjat it once was.. are the boomers and older -once who rode the wave of freedom amd a working ecconomy, and are so wrapped in the luxury they gained from that era - they think it still exists.

Very tragic and unnecessary.

My thought was “easy solution? Don’t have sex”
Then I thought… No more babies
Then I thought… population control
I’d say this is how it starts but it began a year ago
