Among the 38 richest democracies on earth, the United States now sits at number one for perceived government corruption. The median across the OECD is 59%. The only countries Gallup has found scoring higher than America since 2023 are Lebanon, Peru, Ghana and Nigeria.
That is the company Trump has put the United States in. Not Canada. Not Germany.
