IKR.... once again I feel like one of his contractors....................

The U.S. Supreme Court effectively stopped the viability of Trump's proposed tariff rebate checks.

@pdockal not only mine , but anyone else who think differently you are not. The point is not if you care , but almost how dare the others view be different . Americans stick their noses into other countries all the time.

@pdockal SCOTUS stopped the illegal taxes and told trump to give back the money.
It was impossible to specify how much each person had paid in the extra taxes so the trump criminal cabal decided to give the money to the corporations and companies that had originally collected the tax money.
To hide this, trump started talking about individual refunds, even though he knew it would never happen. As always it was some vague 'in a couple of weeks or maybe longer'. Some people heard '$2,000 refund' and stopped thinking - which trump always relies on.

@pdockal Just read back what you wrote and try to make logical sense of it. Think about what the Supreme Court is there to do (as opposed to automatically assuming that everything is a conspiracy against Trump) and base your interpretation on evidence and facts. It's quite a refreshing perspective 🤷‍♀
I will say this... considering the way things went during covid with stimulus checks going out, it COULD possibly happen. Now, with all the fuss about those damned gold phones and all the bad press happening this year it would probably appease a lot of those who favored him to begin with. The rest of us, i am not so certain so i will leave it at that. " It could happen."

We all know where that moneys going...
Seems like its about time for him to come back to talking about it though, with the midterms coming up.

While Trump has suggested these checks could be funded by tariff revenue and claimed he could issue them without congressional approval, economic advisers and legal experts note that Congress controls federal spending, and no official payout program or IRS rollout currently exists.

OK, so he lied and Musk is putting hundreds of $ millions into helping him sell it to the electorate.

And anyone with a Twitter account or a Tesla is helping.
Oil profits are doubled. Y'all bipartisanly is evil but no freaking sympathy for your poverty!;
Highly unlikely.

When you go down the list or promises, and compare those to what's been delivered, it all becomes very clear.

@Ynotisay Depending on the timing of the promise it could be construed as election tampering.
Ynotisay · M
@SW-User I don't know. Maybe. But if people believed him that's on them. What I see as the tampering are policy decisions intended to enrich him and his circle. That's happened.
It will ALL come out eventually but it will still be 'fake news' in the eyes of the cult.

Yet untold billions can be spent at the stroke of a pen to fund an illegal war in the Middle East
