He has something up his sleeve, he doesn't do anything that doesn't benefit him.

@KunsanVeteran i think they are still happening just no longer news worthy.
@samueltyler2 …I have no reason to doubt it as much as I wish it weren’t happening…

But we don’t even need to look outside of our own country to see the human rights abuses he is causing…

Honestly? I think he has enough people that told him about the 10 day rule.

I suspect he has friends in the building business that will benefit from it (he probably will make a few hundred million as well)

BUT

He gets to look all hard and say he's holding it hostage for his pet bill. He got a lot of press from saying he was not going to sign it.

So for him it was a win win.

@Pretzel Maybe Trump and his builder friends won't be making as much money as they are counting on. About a year ago because of Trump's tariffs and his reduric Canada started working on a Build Back Better plan. Part of that plan is to stop exporting our raw logs and start only exporting our lumber that is milled in Canada instead. So that will likely add a big cost to each house they build. Another part of the build back better plan was to find new reliable trading partners. So now if the US does want to buy Canada's lumber that's fine because Canada has other new trading partners. Cheers and happy weekend!

@Nanoose I'm looking forward to rebuilding our relationships in a couple of years.

not make as much money? nah, they'll build housing for the government and make a fortune in cost overruns.

Plenty on his plates . .

Nanoose · 70-79, M
@SunshineGirl Trump is pointing at the delivery person and saying - hey you forgot my 20 gallons of gravy and my diet coke. Cheers and happy weekend!

This bill does nothing to help the affordability of housing. It's primary goal is to reduce regulations on builders. It's the first part of that is the reason Trump didn't sign it. And you are misrepresenting it. The word affordability is not mentioned in the title of this bill.
