ElwoodBlues Seems to me some of that lot don't really know what they want, mixing United States of America, secessionist Confederate and Nazi flags, in a single demonstration.
Hard to know from across the ocean whether they are best taken seriously, satirised or simply ignored, within their own land.
Were ever taught their own nation's history, and 21C world history?
I forget its name but I do know there was an equivalent organisation in late-1930s America to Germany's "National Socialist" party, basically admiring and copying the ideology, and using recruitment attractions like childrens' Summer holiday camps.
What is the man in the boat trying to do? Criticise the President by accusing him of being a Nazi? Or is he a Nazi sympathiser who thinks Donald Trump and by extension, America, should adopt Nazi ideology?
The ones in the park, with the woman in the foreground giving a Hitler salute, appear to have chosen a rather sensitive spot for their antics, judging by the information sign behind her, but I cannot say if by thoughtlessness or wilfully.
None of those characters look old enough for their fathers to have fought in World War Two, though some of the older ones may be the offspring of Vietnam War veterans; and I suppose what they think they know about either war is likely from Hollywood versions.
