Project Freedom Paused After One Day (No Takers?)
The plan to escort commercial ships through the Strait has been paused after approximately 24 hours. Trump says it is temporarily paused because Iran wants to negotiate.
Does anyone believe that? Could it really be because there are no takers? As soon as the operation began Iran started firing on ships. It seems even with a military escort it is to dangerous to attempt and insurance coverage is not available.
Edit: There is a backlog of approximately 1600 ships. At yesterday's rate we can have those cleared out in about 2 1/2 years. The only way things return to normal is for the Strati to be completely open. It doesn't look like that is going to happen until Iran says it will. If donnie wants to negotiate he's going to have to give something up.
