Is Trump's attorney general's job really impossible
I think the author of this article did a fair job of dancing around the point.
The attorney general swears an oath to uphold the Constitution and to serve faithfully, and that's not what Trump wants. He wants a Roy Cohn who is personally loyal to him and is willing to disregard things like ethics, honesty and to serve only Trump and not the office or the American People.
The problem isn't confined to political appointees or lawyers. Everyone serving under the Executive Branch with an amoral sociopath at the top lives with the looming threat of being fired if they do their job honestly and ethically.
