His opposition to offshore windpower (onshore is fine for some reason). This dates back to him getting irritated at the appearance of wind turbines in the North Sea within sight of one of his Scotland golf courses.

Apparently wind turbines "upset the whales" 🐳
@markinkansas Fewer birds than all those plate glass windows on tRUMP’s gaudy buildings…
@markinkansas says
and kills birds

MIT reports that, per gigawatt-hour of electricity, fossil fuel power is EIGHTEEN TIMES more deadly to birds than wind power.
https://climate.mit.edu/ask-mit/do-wind-turbines-kill-birds
Other sources of electricity are also more lethal for birds than wind energy. A 2012 study found that wind projects kill 0.269 birds per gigawatt-hour of electricity produced, compared to 5.18 birds killed per gigawatt-hour of electricity from fossil fuel projects.[6] That’s in part due to collisions with equipment (wind turbines aren’t the only energy infrastructure birds can fly into), but mostly because of the environmental impact of fossil fuels. Coal mining has torn down forests and destroyed habitat, and burning coal produces air pollution tied to acid rain and mercury contamination, which scientists have linked to bird health impacts like birth defects. But when it comes to bird deaths, the most significant impact from fossil fuels is their contribution to climate change, which scientists expect will be extremely dangerous for birds. The National Audubon Society estimates that about two-thirds of bird species in North America are at increased risk of extinction due to rising temperatures and changes to the habitat where they live.[7]

Injecting Disinfectant: During a 2020 COVID-19 briefing, Trump suggested that "injection" of disinfectant like bleach might be a way to "clean" the lungs of the virus

@markinkansas …and don’t forget—the original quote also called for injecting UV light—but he never explained how he would do that…

Sounds like the kind of things they were doing in Nazi prison camps…

@KunsanVeteran Sharpiegate" refers to a 2019 incident where then-President Donald Trump

@markinkansas I remember Sharpiegate very well. Especially after a few drinks with friends…
