He did get shot but there is a reason you can’t see the scare.
Trump has consumed a lot of trans fats over the years. And now his blood is more trans fats than plasma.
So when he gets a wound the trans fats ooze out and seal the wound (sort of like those tires that repair them self's when they get a puncher.

There's no way in hell he was shot. Here's why. With the caliber of bullet that was fired, even if it just grazed his ear, it would have taken off the entire top of his ear.
I might be willing to entertain the notion that what he was hit with was a piece of shrapnel from the teleprompter. I'm still skeptical about that. But that would explain why he was bleeding, yet didn't have a scar.
