guns are inanimate objects and can no more be blamed for deaths than pencils for misspelling words and forks for making you fat... firearm deaths have increased 10 fold over just a few generations ago (when guns were even more common and easier to access); that's a people problem, not a gun problem...

You're the same type that scream to high heavens about a birth control pill or early termination, but once a child is born, doesn't care if they get food to eat, clothes to wear, or get an education.
