@fanuc2013 The only real solution is to outaw capitalism and the free market, corporatism has gotten out of control and has priced goods and services, as well as housing and utilities, so outrageously expensive that most people are struggling to the point of homelessness, where most households now have to have multiple jobs just to afford the cost of living. We need true Socialism where everyone pulls their own weight, where the People own and operate the means of production and commerce, not banks or individuals. The so called "socialism" they try to pass off today is nothing more than crap that costs jobs and businesses, they try and force higher wages, not lowering costs like Trump promised.

@NativePortlander1970 I think the way our constitution is written is the way to go. That’s the American dream. Socialism has no American dream.

@NativePortlander1970 Republic means representative government. How does that run counter to capitalism? Socialism is government control and ownership of all the means of production. How does representative government (elected by THE PEOPLE) somehow mean capitalism cannot exist? (Yeah, I know. About sixty years of DemoKKKrat National Socialism, with the New Deal and the Great Society programs, but we still have free enterprise.)

@Reason10 Free enterprise is WHY capitalism is our of control, we need fair trade. It's interesting how corporatism runs the government, NOT We the PEOPLE, that's how TRUE Socialism works.
