Seeing that they're not answering, in my own view, DJT is the logical extreme end of an arc started by Barry Goldwater and passing through RWR.
Reagan was beloved of conservatives because he was a photogenic front man who delegated everything and paid little attention. He sold idiots on trickle down/supply-side nonsense, and played budgetary games.
DJT is the front man for a far bigger push from the people who hate government oversight of any kind...and he is creating a deep, dumb state while destroying all kinds of progress...at a time when US leadership could have been a huge boon to the planet, rather than the bane is clearly is.

DJT is the Guy Fawks of US history, but exploding the Constitution with the ready assent of the other two branches...and lots of $ and lots of inept, foolish ppl.
