I do not remember if I said this already but -

The media and politicians have been threatening WW3 since the end of WW2.

Just one of their little scare tactics. AIN'T gonna happen.

I remember in the 80's, there was h3lla propaganda about it.

@Punches I hope you are correct.

@Punches I hate to be that guy who goes
But if we're counting global conflicts since the second world war, we're probably on WWV by now.

There is always some conflict. What they are always trying to scare everyone with, in several ways including world wars, is the end of the world.

But the world is still here. The sky hasn't fallen yet.

What taught me to not even worry was a conversation with my dad back in 1990 or 91?
All these televangelists talking about the rapture. I asked my dad, "If Jesus is coming back soon and most of us are going to d*e and be sent to h3ll, why are people just living normal lives or even planning for their futures?"

All he said was, "Oh they have been saying that for 2,000 years."

Eh I guess the truth is revealed in brevity.

EDIT - BTW, just like every scandal coming out of washington, this whole mess got attention for exactly a week, then forgotten.

This week they are back to talking about cuts to medicaid.

I know. That's why I like to point out that it's inaccurate to call it World War III. We've already survived that. But the doomsayers use it as a catchphrase meaning the end.

Oh, the world will go on. And we won't die suddenly. I have no doubt of that.
