"suspending" tariffs for 90 days, relieving none of the uncertainty exporters and importers need to maintain trade and keep costs down. But he wont even think about that tomorrow..Not for 90 days.

No massive tariffs means the american government doesn't get the income from that particular extra tax they were going to impose on americans, which means a lot less income to offset the tax breaks they gave to those who don't need them.

Guess who's going to be making up for that shortfall.

@Convivial Of course they do.. But even that doesnt matter. This outcome does nothing to undo the mess that Trump caused. All China has to do to win is not lose, by reducing its prices to offset trumps tariffs. something they were never going to contemplate. So business cant plan. shippers cant plan.procurement cant plan and nothing gets produced.. Or sold. and layoffs start, and consumption falls, and revenues drop and share prices and dividends drop. and THEN Trump blames Biden for Wall street failing..😷
