If the economy and stock market tank, real estate becomes cheap and stocks dip creating buying opportunities for billionaires with access to cash and credit.

As Ronald Reagan explains, Tяump is clueless.
(Radio speech Nov. 26, 1988):

"In recent years, the trade deficit led some misguided politicians to call for protectionism, warning that otherwise we would lose jobs. But they were wrong again.

In fact, the United States not only didn't lose jobs, we created more jobs than all the countries of Western Europe, Canada, and Japan combined. The record is clear that when America's total trade has increased, American jobs have also increased. And when our total trade has declined, so have the number of jobs.

Part of the difficulty in accepting the good news about trade is in our words. We too often talk about trade while using the vocabulary of war. In war, for one side to win, the other must lose. But commerce is not warfare. Trade is an economic alliance that benefits both countries. There are no losers, only winners. And trade helps strengthen the free world.

Yet today protectionism is being used by some American politicians as a cheap form of nationalism, a fig leaf for those unwilling to maintain America's military strength and who lack the resolve to stand up to real enemies — countries that would use violence against us or our allies. Our peaceful trading partners are not our enemies; they are our allies.

We should beware of the demagogues who are ready to declare a trade war against our friends — weakening our economy, our national security, and the entire free world — all while cynically waving the American flag.

The expansion of the international economy is not a foreign invasion; it is an American triumph, one we worked hard to achieve, and something central to our vision of a peaceful and prosperous world of freedom."

I don’t think he’s doing that on purpose. He sees it as a necessary consequence to his bigger plan. Anyone who keeps saying “buy the dip” doesn’t really understand that our economy is only as good as our trading partners. Something he better hope he can win back.
@Reject Yes, we have a global economy, but it was like that during the Great Depression too. The global economy will inevitably bounce back. In the meantime, the billionaires will be able to buy up property, just like they did last time.

@BohemianBabe The global economy will bounce back once we restore relations with other countries and not until then.

I already said this before it even happened. Think about the process before the results. Many of you been jumping at this category and I already knew this is going to happen before it even started. There's no need to panic. The Golden age is coming and nobody can stop it.

@JonLosAngeles66 you'll see once you experience. Prices is already going down where I'm at and it's freaking California.

More will be going down very soon.

But word of advise. Do not get hooked in good days. Just stay balance.
@FreestyleArt it's a secret only you and Trump know? Lol
I'm in Los Angeles, I don't presume what we experience here is indicative of the rest of the country. We're a trade and manufacturing center. Our pandemic experience was much easier than most of the country as a result. In terms of shortages.

He's not that smart or that disciplined. The roll-out from the exhibit chart they displayed to the contradictory explanations of "the (fantasy) plan" from all the cronies:

1. "The tariffs are negotiable."

2. "The tariffs are non-negotiable."

3. "The tariffs will bring in huge volumes of money."

4. "The tariffs will encourage manufacturing to come back to American so nothing needs to be imported" (translation: no imports = no tariff revenue),

5. "Tariffs are not inflationary."

6. "Tariffs will cause prices to rise, but it's a necessary course correction."

7. "The downturn in the stock market doesn't matter. No one cares about day-to-day fluctuations."

8. "I was encouraged that with the volume of activity, it showed the stock market works." [Scott Bessent - Secretary of the Treasury]

... indicates they don't know what they are doing and are too stupid, meek, or cowardly (pick one or any) to tell Cry-Baby-trump what he doesn't want to hear.

the guy whose various business have declared bankruptcy on six different occasions (per the Washington post) and had his debts modified or made uncollectible?

probably or maybe he just doesn't know how to manage money
Trump doesn't know what's going on, but he's not making these policies. The billionaires who control him are tanking the economy so that they can buy the dip.
Elessar · 26-30, M
Putin wants the US to collapse and he's doing just that

Once he'll be done he'll retire to some mansion or tower in Moscow, where he'll be acclaimed as a national hero
