Oh dear, who would have thought.....

Hundreds of abattoirs in the United States are at risk of being banned from exporting meat to China, because their China export licences are due to expire this weekend.

According to the US Department of Agriculture some beef, dairy, pork and poultry exporters have already had their registrations lapse and there had been a "lack of response by China Customs" to its requests to have the situation rectified.

"The expiry date for several hundred more US establishments is in March and April and [China Customs] has not responded to US government facility registration renewal requests," it said in statement.

From an article on Line....I believe last time Trump was in office he seemed to upset the Chinese then too and they can't meat exports with the end result farmers had to be compensated in the billions... Lucky we have DODGE now so no compensation I'm guessing...

DOGE shuts down fraud and abuse. That has nothing to do with protecting our farmers from attacks by the CCP. In fact with all the money DOGE has saved, they can be compensated with that. China better watch it's step, they could lose access to the US market.

@HobNoblin the general consensus is that are running around like headless chooks and not accomplishing much at all

@Convivial The general consensus so far as I've heard is DOGE is awesome and cleaning up tons of fraud. I can't imagine anyone thinking otherwise. Unless it was a bunch of commies. They invented the term "minor attracted persons" so that's like prison inmates or mental patients coming together in consensus about something. So pretty much a joke that should be ignored. I mean, minor attracted persons ?Who refers to brush chipper bate as "minor attracted" , they must hate children with a passion. That's bizarre to even contemplate.

@HobNoblin Ah yes, but if DOGE is required to produce actual savings rather than merely boasting about what it has done, the whole edifice may collapse . .
