My prediction from day one was that these weren't going to go through. I thought the market responding on Monday, along with Mexico and Canada saying there would be commiserate tariffs from them, would have led him to backpedal. But it took a couple of more days of the market hemorrhaging for this to potentially take place. NOT because of the suffering Americans would face. But because of the markets. He already postponed tariffs on the auto industry. IF this takes place, I can guar-an-freaking tee it'll be "Mexico and Canada have committed to doing what I told them to do. I win."
Well he didn't actually say anything, In fact last night he was even more hardline. Luntnick mentioned something yesterday but who knows it's total anarchy in this administration.

@Riemelt There will be tariffs. They have until April 2nd to comply if they don’t want tariffs. Oh ye of little faith. Give it until day 100 and we’ll see. It’ll bounce back. It’s gonna take a little while to recover from the Biden disaster.
@JohnnySpot Does the eagle also make tradedeals, and after 4 year pretend that those trade deals are the worst thing ever. Then blames it on another eagle and then scatches their tradepartners eyes out?
