tRUMP is about to join the infamous ranks of politicians who appeased aggressors in the name of peace.
First was Neville Chamberlain in 1938 in the Munich Agreement which gave the Sudetanland of Czechoslovakia to Germany. If you took world history class in high school, you know what happened next—Czechoslovakia shortly disappeared from the map.
In 1945 at the Yalta Conference Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt and Josef Stalin met to decide the postwar map of Europe. Eastern Europe and East Germany were given to the USSR sphere of influence, which lasted until 1989. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Romania, and Bulgaria can all tell you how that decision affected them.
Now tRUMP and Vladimir Putin want to meet in Saudi Arabia without the input of Wolodomyr Zelensky and European leaders in order to end the war of Russian aggression against Ukraine. tRUMP right from the start gave two major bargaining points to Putin—the right to annex the Crimean Peninsula and the Donbas region of Ukraine, as well as giving up the idea of NATO membership for Ukraine to protect against further Russian aggression.
What will tRUMP get out this deal? God forbid that he should receive the Nobel Peace Prize!
