I think Trump is bluffing about tariffs..don't u?

Tarriffs created the juggernaut of US industrial and consumer might.

I hope he's serious. If we can even get to 25% of locally manufactured goods the tipping point of self sufficiency, which the USA is certainly capable of, will be made.

This is the solution to homelessness and high crime statistics. Wealth and self sufficiency gives us our dignity.

Trump doesn't just want to be popular, though. He wants to be the most, in every category, and he really doesn't do well outside of his areas of expertise, i.e., self promotion, hyperbole and outright fraud.

I think the disrupter schtick is secondary to his self interest.

Tarriffs to Trump are likely nothing more than an opportunistic idea he picked up, like being pro choice, then, pro-life, and State's Rights.

I doubt that he is bluffing. Tariffs are not as bad as many imagine. That and the fact that imposing tariffs will increase domestic production.

He needs to focus on what he wants tariffs for. Re-shoring manufacturing industries, or raising revenue. They can't do both, that is a logical fallacy.
