If Trump loves tariffs so much why doesn't he just marry one?

A month or so ago Trump was saying that a tariff was a beautiful thing and he loves them. Today is likely the day that Trump puts tariffs on America’s 3 biggest trading partners. I think Trump should just marry a tariff instead of making America and other countries part of a weird love triangle. Cheers and happy weekend!

Who knows maybe the country's will agree to abide by the immigration laws and they'd be no need to implement it but let's pretend like that isn't the real problem here

@SW-User bravo 👏
@SW-User Funny thing: the many large agricultural businesses who actually hire & pay low cost undocumented workers incur no penalties for doing so. Don't you see a problem with making the employment of the low cost undocumented workers penalty-free? Doesn't that amount to an incentive to keep hiring them??

@SW-User Maybe Canada might cut the power to the US in protest, or charge 3x as much for the power they supply.
@justanothername go for it...the US has already been increasing our supply of oil and NG

@ElwoodBlues you just once again prove you don't grasp the full picture. Tbese fsrmers can hiring cheaper labor through work visa for 3rd country residents. By doing so no one is breaking any laws, the farmers are saving money, and the visa workers are making way more to send home than they would in their country. Now if they knowingly hire illegals they face steep fines pay attention to the real world and propaganda talking points won't fool you so easily

"Knowingly"?? Sounds like a giant loophole.
Have you any evidence that such fines are consistently being levied? Or is their rumor just a fig-leaf to hide the fact that agribusiness has been getting away with hiring the undocumented scot-free?

@ElwoodBlues the way the left dodges the point to raise another insignificant issue as a diversion from the point at hand. Typical as a result of not having a true rebuttal but too addicted to argumentative behavior to just walk away.

@SW-User so many people post that do not have a clue of shat they are talking about. It’s sad so many people that vote have no clue
@Canicu69 Here's a little news flash from the deep south.

Undocumented workers busted. Employers often not. What we learned from 6 ICE raids in U.S.
● Hundreds of immigrants busted in Mississippi chicken plant raids, 99 indicted so far
● Past large-scale raids show criminal charges for companies seldom materialize
● Companies often negotiate a fine and avoid prosecution
● Search warrants allege companies knew who they were hiring
