I hope a light goes on in someone’s head somewhere. Little by little…

The Federalist Society began in 1982 and has been influential in the right-wing political movement including the appointment of Supreme Court justices and other judges.
It is the author of Project 2025 which Trump claims he knows nothing about yet disagrees with (go figure....). It is 922 pages with 34 authors, 81% of whom served in the Trump administration, one of them on his cabinet. (So, he has "no idea who's behind it...." as he says) Of the 34 authors, he personally hired 25 of them to serve in his administration, in high-level positions.
Project 2025 is not a long-range plan. It states clearly it is a 180 day plan to accomplish its list within the first six months of a second Trump administration.
Some of the list:
Cut Social Security (p. 691)
Cut Medicare (p. 449)
.......... And privatize both
End the Affordable Care Act (p. 449)
Raise drug prices
Raise the retirement age
In the interest of not overwhelming us all, this is my list for today. More to follow.
No comments needed, please. Agreement is not what I'm looking for. I'm seeking that we all spread information.

Would someone please publish the actual 2o25 plan and not your interpretation

@Lucia would it make you feel better if I told you I don't care about it or the heritage foundation?
Lucia · 36-40
@MasterLee No. But I hope you have an opinion. Because if it happens you will also lose freedom.

Have a great day.

@Lucia it won't. It's liberal scare tactics. Trump was President before and nothing like that occurred.
It's just standard Republican fare. Many of the proposals would require the cooperation of Congress or even a constitutional amendment. Trump could try executive orders, but the more controversial ones would be blocked by the courts.

Trump's weakness is that he prizes loyalty over competence. For example, "Schedule F" which would allow him to fire around 50,000 federal employees involved in policy and replace them with Federalist Society stooges, sounds pretty bad until you hear that prospective replacements are being vetted by Don Jr. and Eric.

@LeopoldBloom I know, right? It's not like the Supreme Court would allow him to do something blatantly unconstitutional.

Oh, wait...
@LordShadowfire Biden still has a few months left.
