Be careful what you wish for, you just may get it.

Maybe Trump should never have won the presidency. Do you think he'd be facing 4 trials for a slew of alleged crimes if he stayed in the private sector?

No. He would never have been scrutinized the way he has been. He has no one else to blame for this but himself. And the same applies to the Republican party for not refusing him access..Too late for both of them now..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman

Yes. Well put.
@bijouxbroussard Obviously I write from a British perspective and view America far different to you.
@ElwoodBlues Well you will soon have election, to make a judgement on him. I gather he was elected once.

But we have a guy that was not elected by anyone, who refuses to call an election. I think you have the better deal.Some years ago we were allowed to vote, and elected a government under a Mr Johnson. Goodness knows who this guy is.
@sunriselover Yes, Trump was elected once. He was not re-elected in 2020 because of the efforts of many once they saw what a liability he was (is). He’s been a very divisive factor like little our country has seen in modern times. Before him, someone in this much legal trouble would not even be eligible to run, so many people are seeing the system as corrupted, which doesn’t bode well.

Was Johnson removed or did he resign ? I remember he was your PM—and then he wasn’t. 🤔
@bijouxbroussard Difficult to say with Johnson, he was very popular. When he resigned a Ms Truss was elected by her Conservative membership. Mr Sunak was not.

No because the democrats would not be worried about their evil ways being exposed.
That’s a good point, isn’t it ? He wanted to be even more in the public eye than he was, and now very little is secret.

@AdaXI

Come on... really? I did like u said to do - altered the spelling.
@RenFur How weird ! They can’t think it’s meant literally ? 🤔

@bijouxbroussard 🤣

I don't even want to hazard a guess (and be exiled for saying the wrong thing??)
His private life is up to him.
@sunriselover Drug abuse is not the worst thing imaginable. Arguably it mostly harms the person involved, and it hasn’t seemed to have been an issue for Harry while here. Not to mention, Harry’s not running for public office in the U.S..

Trump losing in court to a civil charge of sexual assault is (or should be) much more serious. Paying off someone to hide a sexual dalliance (for someone who wants to be President again) is also pretty serious.
@bijouxbroussard But Meghan and Harry think they are on some Royal tour in Nigeria. They are not.
@sunriselover Seriously, how do you know what they think ? 🤔
And he’s still not running for public office here.
Have you ever noticed how Trump was the darling of the dems, until he announced his run for the presidency.

Honest people are sometimes easily duped (🤣)
@RenFur The most gullible always are.
