Do you think Trump will do any flip flopping today?

Trump resonantly said that he thinks abortion laws should be left to the States. It outraged the anti abortion supporters and Trump knows that anti abortion supporters are a large portion of his supporters – so I think he is going to flip flop on his statement. Maybe he will go back to his old claim that if a woman wants an abortion a doctor can ripe it out of her body up to 32 weeks into the pregnancy. Cheers!
I'm certain that he'll eventually contradict himself eventually, maybe even in "defending" his false statements but attacking his critics, but today I wouldn't bet on with so much else going on in Court.

Plus, a relatively unprincipled, pragmatic approach to abortion, exceptions and IVF probably is the right play politically for him.

I doubt many Trumpists will be bothered by his "flip flopping" even if it contradicts their religious beliefs (e.g. not covering, bearing false witness, treating your neighbor, and turning the other cheek), and he needs policy stuff he can point to besides revenge, bloodshed and fear.

Much like appeasing Putin, I think Trump will see this as a pretty good line for suckers, and I doubt he'll flip flop quickly on it.

He also spread a falsehood the democrats believe in executing babies when they are born.

My sister and her family only like Trump because he was anti-abortion. I wonder what they are going to do now.

@JimboSaturn
That's nuts. I'm so glad I don't get my morals from the Bible.
If anyone actually followed biblical rules the person would be the most evil person who ever lived and certainly the craziest.

(Sirach 42:1,5-6 NAB) "But of these things be not ashamed, lest you sin through human respect;…Of constant training of children, or of beating the sides of a disloyal servant; or of a seal to keep an erring wife at home."

@Diotrephes Lovely! Funny how SOME Christians take Genius literally but they ignore these parts.

He has a long history of flip-flopping on abortion.

@DrWatson That's because he has no real values; only deal making interests him.
@JimboSaturn I just have the feeling that someone like Trump has paid for more than a few in his time…for himself, and probably for his sons.

I wish his mum had made that decision out of a desire to rid the world of suffering. I mean. . .
Good.

Trump is unstable.
No matter what he says, it has no bearing on what eventually will happen.

Why is he even being considered for presidency if he has umpteen federal charges he is facing?
Did all that just vanish like a stinker in the wind?
