Will Trump become a modern day Nelson Mandela?

In a 3 page rant on Truth social Trump claimed he'll become a modern day Nelson Mandela if he's jailed over the gag order.
And also said it would be his GREAT HONOR to be imprisoned for violating his gag order. Cheers and happy weekend!

@Elessar I suspect you have a point. In practice Trump and Gaddafi do have some differences. Gaddafi and Putin do know how to look after their own people better. Trump strangles each golden goose until it is no longer useful, then throws it under a bus.. Of course, Gaddafi also ran out of people in the end, 😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Gaddafi was an actual dictator, so is Putin. Trump is simply a puppet, alone he'd accomplish absolutely nothing. I'd say like Lukashenko, or perhaps even less capable than Lukashenko.

@Elessar But Lukashenko had Putin as a big brother to back him openly. Unless you saying that Putin will back Trump with force. And I seriously doubt his ability if the Ukraine is a fair test..😷

@Wiseacre I bet Trump knows very little about Nelson Mandela or all the other people he likes to compare himself to like - Jesus and Abraham Lincoln. A few months go Trump was claiming that a lot of people come up to him and say he looks like Elvis. Cheers and happy weekend!

@bijouxbroussard I think one of the reasons Trump chose Nelson Mandela to compare himself with is because Mandela is black and Trump is trying to get the black vote. But I think he lost some votes instead. Cheers!

@softspokenman Guess that would depend on if they are a MAGA or not a MAGA. If they are not a MAGA he has already proving that he is not capable of rational thinking. But if they are a MAGA it is about a gazillion more times before they even start to consider he is not capable of rational thinking. Cheers!

Mandela was imprisoned for his opposition to apartheid . I am not sure I am making the connection. But I am getting the vibe from your word choice and the cheers at the end (clever pun if that was your intent) that you feel he is fighting for something good.

So to push the question back to your side of the table, why is Trump your hero and what is he fighting for ?
