Scared yet?

Former President Donald Trump and his allies are preparing for an aggressive expansion of his powers should he take back the White House.

That includes more power to crack down on immigration and overhaul the Justice Department to punish opponents.

Trump mocked fears about his authoritarianism tendencies at a Fox News town hall on Tuesday, stating he'd be a dictator only on "Day 1" so that he could close the border and start drilling.

I guess he is going to secure America first. By aggressively handling problems that are threatening National Security.

@specman but we have to do our part, Do our due diligence, then VOTE and VOTE down ballot. No one can clean this up if we still vote corrupted people into office, thankfully most of them are announcing retirement. Remember both sides have been corrupted, it isn’t confined to any one party.

@specman Here's what your beloved orange master wants to do to the government: https://www.project2025.org/

@LordShadowfire it’s just a book . That’s it. It’s more less proposing what to do. Written in a far right language.

@specman Yeah, well, I don't like what it's proposing.

@LordShadowfire it sounds like it is a radical right book. It is too much one sided. We don’t need to remove the democrats. We need both parties. It sounds like that book is written to eliminate all chances of the democrats.
I agree with you. I’m not going to lie some of the things appeal to me, but it’s too drastic. I hope nobody reads that book and think it would be a good project.

@specman The website clearly claims it is a policy agenda. Donald Trump had a good deal to do with shaping it.
@specman Too bad he didn't do any of that in his first four years🤣😂

@LordShadowfire it will never pass
@specman Ann Coulter is a right-wing author & commentator, and was a big Trump supporter. In her crude way, she poses the question that I rephrase below.

Trump had 4 years as president, so it begs the question: why didn't he fix any of these big issues the first time around. And it begs another question: given that he was unsuccessful with many of these big issues, what reason is there to believe he will succeed on the second try?

FYI, here is a list of major unfulfilled 2016 promises from Trump.

In 2016, Trump
* Promised a tax cut that pays for itself;
* Promised to replace Obamacare with something better and cheaper that covers everyone;
* Promised a trillion dollars worth of infrastructure spending;
* Promised "We're going to see economic growth of 4, 5 & maybe 6%!";
* Promised to reduce deficit and eventually balance the budget;
* Promised to reduce prices of prescription drugs;
* Promised he had made the world safe from Kim Jong Un's missiles;
* Promised to LOCK HER UP!
* Promised to make Mexico pay for that wall;
* Promised to release his tax returns;
* Promised to cut the number of tax brackets, repeal the alternative minimum tax,eliminate the carried interest loophole, and allow individuals to deduct health care insurance premiums from taxes.

That's several trillion dollars worth of broken promises there, LOL!!

@specman I think rather than getting rid of the Democrat party we need more cooler heads back in power of the party. We need to get back to a bipartisan relationship within both the parties. I see way to many representatives on both sides supporting their party lines in their present form rather than their respective constituents. Both parties need some serious housekeeping.
