Donald Trump, during a campaign speech, says he has no interest in a debate controlled by hostile media...and in an aside, said, "Fox News".

I have noticed more and more hostility toward Trump on Fox News.

One show that is particularly hostile is Fox Business, with Neil Cavuto, (one of Fox News's producers). Cavuto can't seem to help himself. He constantly hosts hostile candidates who hate Trump, such as Asa Hutchinson, who said on the air, that he could NEVER vote for a convicted felon, (meaning Trump), for President, and Chris Christie who just hates Trump to pieces and is actively working against him. Cavuto also makes comments personally that show his bias. Then he has the nerve to say things like, "always fair and balanced".

Brett Baier made it known, (with a small dig on air), that HE is biased against Trump, and Howie Kurtz, of media buzz, is also fairly consistent with little digs. Arthel Neville, also of Fox news, actually corrected a guest yesterday when he sounded TOO pro Trump.

I don't blame Trump for naming the only network that used to support him as (now), hostile.

Conservatives have NO remaining primetime news that is sympathetic to our views, IMO.

What is YOUR opinion?

It's a little like wrestling on TV - all scripted with a predetermined outcome. You have the "good guy" and "bad guy" wrestlers who (just like our politicians) pretend to hate each other, but are friendly behind the scenes. You have the announcers (just like our media) who are part the act, trying to create excitement narrating the stunts. Then there's the audience. Most people know wrestling is scripted. Some know and watch for the entertainment value. But...there are some people who are dumb enough to think it's real. The MSM is a little more sophisticated and each plays to a specific audience. It's more difficult to discern the con, but if you watch enough of it with an open mind, you'll see the contradictions. Fox may be worse than CNN, MSNBC and the others. They pretend to be conservative, but are just as much behind the establishment swamp rats as any other news company.
@4meAndyou can you send me a quick message first? I took screen shots of those I follow on TS, and SW requires that you send me a message first before I send images. Thanks.
@4meAndyou thanks for the bc.

@BizSuitStacy You're welcome!

It's always the same with these "debates"- Democrat candidate and moderator vs. Republican. Chris Wallace and Joe Biden vs. Donald Trump; Candy Crowley and Barack Obama vs. Mitt Romney... To hell with these "debates."

@graphite One big setup after another. Finally some see it while others never will.
Fox sucks almost as bad as CNN and ABC. You want unbiased news, dont go to fox. Find a source that isnt bought and paid for.

@YourMomsSecretCrush What do you watch? Looking for free streaming alternatives...
@4meAndyou I mostly watch local news. Can’t stomach national news much. Fox is dreadful but they are better than the rest. I watch a lot of podcasts these days. There’s a guy named Patrick Bet David who has a really good podcast.

Well, Trump's failures are in leadership. While we all cheer the way he puts the Democrats and their media pals in their place, he struggles to bring anti-Democrats and Republicans to form a team. On day one of the Trump administration, Jeff Sessions fell into the Democrats' trap. Then Trump failed to clean out Democrat loyalists from the DOJ, FBI, etc.and as a result, the Trump administration wasted the years defending itself from insiders in the administration.

Than he failed to keep disloyal Republicans at a distance and failed to bring in Democrats to replace the obstructionist Republicans, and as a result the American people were struck with Obamacare.

While I love the anti-Democrat attacks, there's the leadership that's missing. I'm now 100% behind Doug Burgum and 85% Tim Scott. Two men with demonstrated leadership abilities and who appeal to most Americans and not just to us anti-Democrats because they can leap above the name-calling and "gotcha" politics. See what Doug did for North Dakota and listen to what he's saying, and the best part is that he can say it without insulting all Democrats.
4meAndyou · F
@Heartlander Well, I will probably have to say that is a throwaway vote. I certainly have never heard of Doug Burgam till this afternoon.

@4meAndyou :) He's the 2nd term governor of North Dakota. A successful business man and computer trail-blazer turned politician. No one gave him a snowball chance in hell to walk in off the street and become governor. But there he is now, in his 2nd term.

Of all the contentious issues facing America today, he is probably the single candidate smack in the middle with in-depth, hands-on experience: energy, automation, economy, immigration, infrastructure. As far as I can tell, he's the closest thing to a new Ronald Reagan. Maybe a bit better in that he's both a former high-tech exec and a real estate exec.

A few years ago I heard him speak at a college commencement and my take away was that he was also far ahead of the crowd on education, and how education has to adapt to the evolving world while not surrendering our core values.

God Bless Trump for his smackdowns of Democrats and the press; but once elected, there are different priorities than crowd sizes and petty "gotcha" with Democrats.

Neil is and always has been a 'Never Trumper'
RuyLopez · 56-60, M
@daydeeo That is exactly my opinion of them now. With Paul Ryan on the Board everything about them became suspect to me.
daydeeo · 61-69, M
@RuyLopez I agree. I like his business info, but...
4meAndyou · F
@RuyLopez RINO then, RINO now.
Well, since you ask...

I don't watch TV news anymore. In fact, it's difficult to find ANY news ANYwhere that is actual news and not 'entertainment' designed to arouse negative emotions to feed the voracious Algorithm Beast.

That said, I can find precious few positive things to say about Trump, myself.

Just remember all the mainstream media is owned by six corporations, who all work in synchronisation, that’s why they all use the same narrative when reporting anything, Fox News has been paid opposition for many years, just to make the masses think it’s not all one sided, basically we’ve all got state tv,
TheBannibalOne · 61-69, M
I would not trust one.😡
djjohnson · 41-45, M
Did I miss something? What conviction are they referring to?
4meAndyou · F
@djjohnson None. Asa Hutchinson is just a giant a hole.
djjohnson · 41-45, M
@4meAndyou just as I thought.
