So I read a claim that Bragg is “stalling” Trump’s trial until January 2024

It was of course from a disreputable source, so I don’t buy it, but is it refutable? I mean, I imagine it’s just that the legal process, which neither I nor the vast majority of Americans understand, takes time, which broad ignorance Trump supporters would use to their advantage and say, “Oh yeah, likely story. How can you not see that this is a nakedly political witch hunt?”

Is there a more solid explanation?

No that's true. Jan 24, so that he can interfere with the primary season.

@TexChik What a shame. Well why didn’t Trump request an earlier or later trial date then so it wouldn’t interfere with his primaries?
TexChik · F
@JPWhoo because the libs are doing this solely to interfere with his campaign . The judge’s daughter worked for the Biden campaign .

@TexChik nothing to see here… typical Dem bullshit

@TexChik You can’t judge a man’s political leanings by those of his family. Trump could still request an earlier or later date, and if the judge refused that would be another point he could use to raise money off of fools like yourself, but he didn’t.
