Can you imagine what will happen if Trump is arrested on Tuesday?

I have been thinking about what will happen if they try to arrest Trump on Tuesday. Right now I figure law enforcement will show up at Mar-a-Loga with a legal arrest warrant for Donald J. Trump. And everybody at Mar-a-Loga will pretend that they don't know were he is. So law enforcement will do a premises search for him. And they will find him in his office holding a pair of scissors and a classified document. And in a El Capone type of voice he will be shouting - stand back or the document gets it. Cheers and happy weekend!

What he did on 1/6 was inexcusable but arresting him would only exacerbate the issue.
@originnone I'm sorry. Exactly what do you suggest we do with a felon who betrayed his country?

@eli1601, either man up and say what you're thinking, or shut the fuck up.

@originnone not arresting him for violating laws sends the wrong message.

@BackyardShaman It's more dangerous to prosecute members of exiting administrations than it is to make a point.

@originnone take away two words from what you’re implying, Republican (formally known as GOP), and Democrat (other political party of which Trump is not presently a member). Now look at what is remaining in reference to the suspect, a number of very serious charges for crimes that evidence suggests a likely guilty verdict. It’s not about political positions, it’s about breaking laws. Your suggestion places the GOP above the law, since you broadly classified the whole previous administration with your statement.

@BackyardShaman I'm actually prioritizing which laws to enforce, which is a very common practice and happens every day.
