Do you think Trump ever got his palm greesed while he was in the WH?

I think he did many times. And lately I have been thinking the reason he reversed the Obama train safety rules was to get a kick back from the train company's. At that time the train company's were saying it would cost then over 3 billion dollars to follow the new rules. And I think Trump saw it as a opportunity to make a few bucks so he held out his hand and told the train company's he would reverse the rule if they greased his palm. Cheers and happy weekend!

Do you honestly think that Trump personally changed a rule? Really? What color is the sky in your world?

@hippyjoe1955 then get off your hatred of Obama, and Biden.

@samueltyler2 First of all prove that I hate Obama or Biden. they have both been disasters as presidents but I don't personally know them so hate them is a bit of a stretch on your part. So let me ask you this question. When the brake rule came in under Obama did Obama personally write the rule or at least explicitly approve of it? Or was it just another rule in another batch of bureaucratic bungleze that got put into effect when he was president?
@hippyjoe1955 Trump rolled back an Obama era mandate that required trains carrying hazardous materials to be equipped with an advanced electronic braking system, stating the costs outweighed the benefits. Railroad industry insiders have publicly stated the Ohio crash would not have been as severe if the train had been equipped with those brakes.

@robingoodfellow Which proves what? Do you think the Iowa disaster that happened under Biden not Trump was Trump's fault because a rule was changed? Sadly the rule had nothing to do with what caused the accident. The train didn't derail because it didn't have sufficient brakes. It derailed when a bearing/axle failed. Should the train have been better maintained? Absolutely. Why the hot wheel detection system failed we don't know. Neither of which has anything to do with Trump or Biden or Obama. The conductor who is the one in charge of the train should have been alerted by built in systems in the railway that there was an overheated wheel/axle/bearing and then the conductor should have stopped the train using the more than adequate brakes to stop the train. Blaming this disaster on any politician of any stripe is so foolish as to be moronic. There were multiple failures none of them caused by a rule change or even the equipment governed by the rule changes. You might as well say that the 747 fell out of the sky after its wings fell off because the FAA changed the rules about the thickness of the brake pads. A complete non sequitur. It just doesn't follow. Were Trump's rule changes wise or foolish? I don't know they certainly have caused any accidents.
@hippyjoe1955 this quote is from Newsweek:

Speaking to investigative news outlet The Lever, Steven Ditmeyer, a former top official at the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), said the "severity" of the accident was likely increased by the lack of Electronically Controlled Pneumatic (ECP) brakes.

This is a typical case of a politician - in this case Trump- deregulating something that was put in place to protect people and the environment. Deregulating to save big business money.

@robingoodfellow The fault was a failed bearing axle. The conductor never knew he had a problem until the train was off its track. Brakes would have had no effect on its outcome. Please sir you are quoting government officials after the covid jabs? Really?

@robingoodfellow Here is a quick overview of the failed technology that was a huge contributing factor in this derailment.
